This past June 2018, through our $95k Institute for Museum and Library Services grant, we invited nearly 20 experts in virtual reality and 3D visualization to the OU campus to discuss techniques and challenges of VR visualization and analysis for academic libraries and higher education. The afternoon of the second day of this three-day mini-conference was open to the public, and we had librarians from other universities and public libraries from all over the region.
